The UNESCO world heritage site Crespi d’Adda is an exceptional example of a workers’ village and the most complete in Southern Europe. Strolling through this picturesque village means being in the company of the late nineteenth century town!

This unique example of industrial architecture is an ideal workers’ village built from nothing by the Crespi family for his employee and their families where workers were provided with homes, vegetable gardens, medical care, education and all local necessary service. After our guided tour in English we will enjoy a delicious lunch in the Ristorante Dopolavoro, which was the workers’ Club house. After a short bus trip (about 20 minutes) to Bergamo we will have a guided city tour in English in the old town 'Città Alta’. Situated on the foot of the Alps overlooking the new town, this medieval mecca is bursting from wall to wall with history and culture.
