We will explore the watercourse of the river Margorabbia starting from the mill Rigamonti in Cunardo to the waterfall and to the orrido/gorge in which the river has dug secret paths.

A trip in the midst of nature, where you can discover its ability to supply energy to man and to create such wonderful places.

  • The still operational 18th century Rigamonti Mulino: an old water mill that moves thanks to the water of the Margorabia river. It will be possible to buy the flour produced like in the 18th century.
  • The Fermona waterfall: It is a jump of 30 meters just below the village and represents the dive that the Margorabbia torrent does when it comes out of the gorge. At the base of the waterfall there is a small lake. The surrounding environment invites the calm and the serenity of untouched environments.
  • Orrido/gorge of Cunardo: Cave composed of two underground paths of 180 and 120 meters with a single horizontal entrance about twenty meters wide. We will stay only in front of the entrance and admire the natural beauty.
